Wohoo - snood finished in time!

Wohoo have finished the snood for my Nan’s birthday (and ahead of schedule as its not until 21st Jan – yay!) Am happy with the final look and hopefully you can’t see the mistakes too easily now that I have sewn it up. I really hope that she likes it. Will add photos later.

I have finished the top layer of George’s dragon scarf and am now onto the red underbelly which is knitting up quicker so hopefully it wont take me too long. Especially as now Andy wants to give this as a gift this year when we see his family in February. Now I can add this scarf, a scarf for Patrick and finishing off a Fatty for Rebecca and the dog pencil case for Daisy to my list for January! Not sure I needed anything else added to it!

The crochet squares for the Children’s Society are almost finished and I just need to finish sewing the ends in and then they can be sent off this week (once again with plenty of time – yay!)

Annoying I couldn’t find the blood drop pattern on Sat when I got back from buying red wool but I have now found it so can get on with making some of them before the 31st Jan deadline. I’m hoping to send 10 off in total.

Am very happy as I have found the perfect wool to make some chickens which are due in February (and I could make a couple more for the people in my family as well as maybe girls at work?? Maybe!) Thankfully February looks a bit quieter so that might be a good month to get started on my Easter bunnies for the children (only 5 to make!) plus to get on with some Christmas items to get myself ahead and organised (which I promise myself that I will do every year but never do!)

I need to start planning birthday and Christmas gifts so I can get a list started – you will learn how much I like a list! I must get better at taking photos as I go - will def take some photos tonight and add them to the blog.
