Holey scarf for Jan! and projects to get finished this month

Oh no I beginning to think that my blog is starting to fade away like all my promises to keep a daily diary! But never fear I have still been knitting – I am making a holely scarf/snood for my Nan although I am not 100% happy with it. I should get it finished this weekend but may end up making her another one in time for her birthday…………….hmm we shall see! It also doesn’t seem that warm which doesn’t seem right considering her January birthday and the freezing cold weather at the moment!

They aren't the best of photos but I will try and get a photo of someone wearing it.  It is super thick and I think it will be warmer than it looks - hopefully!

Also I am super excited to be sending off my St Mungo hats to help homeless people. I have completed 6 hats and am comfortably ahead of the deadline which feels nice. Now need to get on with my crochet squares for The Children’s Society and the blood drops for the NHS Blood Donor service both before the end of January.

 To do this month:
  1. Finish Fatty for Andy’s mum (birthday 15th Jan)
  2. Finish scarf for Nan (birthday 21st Jan)
  3. Make a spare scarf for Nan (birthday 21st Jan)
  4. Make 5 blood drops for NHS project (deadline 31st Jan)
  5. Make 12 crochet squares for the Children’s Society (deadline 25th Jan)
  6. Knit a Christmas bauble
  7. Finish dragon scarf (George for Christmas)
  8. Finish Rebecca’s Fatty (Deadline Feb)
  9. Knit 3 charity chickens (Deadline Feb)
  10. Start Easter bunnies (Deadline April)
Hmm! I need to get knitting and crocheting!
