Still havent taken photos – very naughty but I have a very short memory and I cannot remember to do things by the time I get home! However, I have still been knitting and have completed my first blood drop for the NHS Blood Donor service (chunky wool and used up nearly a whole ball – not impressed!) but I am a third through my second drop which is in DK and I’m hoping to get a couple of drops out of this ball of wool. I had set the aim of 10 drops but think 5 may be more realistic especially given the Ireland trip and the 4 finished gifts that are needed.
We have just arranged to see Andys parents on Sat so I will need to get her fatty finished before then! Right think I shall have to finish my blood drop tonight, spend tomorrow night sewing in the ends of the charity squares and then a big focus on getting things done for Ireland (and Sue’s birthday!).
Have realised that I would love to do a scarf for my friend Sam whose birthday is 13 February and I do have the spare wool from Nans potential second scarf which I didn’t end up doing or I have some chunky wool left over the blanket I made for Nan – decisions, decisions! The good news is that I definitely don’t need to buy any more wool (much to poor Andy’s relief I’m sure!)
